So my Olds 260 engine has been leaking antifreeze around the intake manifold coolant passages... I assumed the intake gasket needed changing.... only to find out that the intake manifold itself was badly corroded... 20200812_172933.jpg 20200812_173010.jpg 20200812_172959.jpg

Might as well upgrade to a four barrel intake at the same time! ... The Edelbrock Olds SP2P is the only intake that will fit on a 260 besides the factory single plane two barrel intake 20200812_175804.jpg

These 70's SP2P intakes featured smaller runners for improved low-mid range torque and fuel economy... in my opinion too small for an olds 350 or 403... but perfect for the 260! 20200812_180457.jpg 20200812_180311.jpg the triangular ports fit nicely in the 260 manifold gasket windows

Kind of a rare intake these days... you can find used ones for sale on ebay from time to time
