Complications from Covid-19 have claimed another great one. I knew Sonny since 1970 . My sympathy to his family.
Sonny raced in the early pro stock wars in southern California in the '70's and then went on to build steel billet crankshafts for drag racing and nascar. I visited his shop once and was quite amazed with his quality control as well as his finished products. RIP Sonny, you will be missed.
Sonny held the Pro Stock Record for a short time. My Brother dealt with Sonny and his Dad, I believe, for years, always great service. R.I.P. Sonny.
A friend has one in his 605” BB for LSR. It was left at the shop for a customer that never came back. Charlie put it in his 572” and used a 14-71 on top.
