Technical 1949 ford latches.

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by askforjonny, Jul 12, 2020.

  1. I know they are crap to begin with.
They do not latch closed currently and I am wondering if I could get some maintenance help or a re-pop latch to replace them...

I'm no help because mine is a 50. But I did put seatbelts in so I don't lose the old lady on a left hand turn.

Hey if the originals aren’t much good hard to imagine repops being better.
Have you looked into possibility of new components/springs/ strikers etc?

    just a thought.
