reply to "Parts for sale"

I see a few items i am interested in on parts for sale, but the site will not allow me to respond to have someone contact me. It says i do not have Privileges. Any idea why?

 

Did you try PM, or are you trying to post on the Parts for Sale thread?

 

Got to PM

 

Hover your cursor over the avatar (user picture) and click on "Start Converstation." The system will automticall start a "Personal Message" between you and the seller. Fill out the form and when you are done, click on Start Conversation.

You will know when the seller responds because the envelop icon (upper right of your screen) will turn red. Click on the icon to view Converstations.



The Conversaations icon is the one in the middle--looks like an envelope.

 

No one can reply to the classifieds, you have to send them a conversation. HRP

I did the same thing when I figured out how to get here... ?

 

It is for parts to buy. I have used the PM (start conversation), I just thought there was a better way and i was no Privileged enough to use it.

Give the seller a few days, people post things for sale and check in every now & then, a word of warning, look at the sellers post and make sure they have been around here for a while, there are some scammers out there that love to advertise on the hamb. HRP

Well, in an ironic twist, just the once. Whenever I see station promos for it on TV I will remark to my wife "That was funny, we should watch it again" but never do.
