Looking for the "windshield trim piece" for a 31 A Roadster. It's the piece that goes close to the windshield that you screw the rear of the gas tank or panel. Only found it on Mac's A Parts. Looked all over. Rather have an original; Tried calling a few vendors but nothing. Have a friend coming off vacation next week I'll ask .Trying to get the cowl complete. ....Anyone know where else would have one?

I don't know if this guy is still around or not. I haven't been there for about 5 or 6 years, but he had barns full of original Model A stuff and did repairs and restoration. A really nice guy, you might check it out.

He is still around and a great guy to deal with. Hugh collection of A parts. May have what you need. Put together a set of axles and rear brake drums for my phaeton last summer.

That's not a hard piece to come up with. Keep looking around before settling on a repo you will fight with.

I goes right in front of the windshield and you screw it down from under the dash with about 8 bolts. Holds down the piece , tank through the body

  12. Try Berts Antique Auto, (800) 321-1931. They get a lot of good comments on fordbarn.
