Hi everyone, Thought I would post a thread dedicated to the GCRR that I organize here on the South East Coast of QLD Australia. The idea was originally to invite the small group of traditional Hot Rods in my area, A small cruise with like minded guys, no street rods. After a successful two years and one feature in HOPUP magazine, it is almost time for the 3rd run. I thought I would post a bunch of pictures from the past two years. All images taken by the exotic Chris Cooper http://www.crcooperphoto.com/ You can also follow along @gold_coast_reliability_run on Instagram. Thanks, Josh.
2019. Each year is capped at 30 entrants and preference is given to Flathead powered cars. Once again photos from Chris Cooper http://www.crcooperphoto.com/
Sure looks like them Aussies have a better grip on traditional hot rod, than a lot folks here in the U.S. do.
Was a fun event with great people and some of the best traditional rods in the country. Disappointed I had to limp home with fuel issues (later found the new coil was also fucked! )
Visited Sydney on R&R, in the first group, had a good time. Thought about moving there , but expensive. Looks like a good group.
This year planning for Sept. 19th. Loosely invite only I guess you could call it. Follow the Instagram page for more info leading up to it. Would love to have you on the run. I've been trying to get Chad up for it for a while now
We'll definitely be making the trip south for this years run. Pretty pumped about having the opportunity to be part of it !!!
