    From the collection of Jumpin' Jack Summers, a popular race flag starter in Southern California at race tracks such as Western Speedway and Ascot Park during the 1960s, and later at other race tracks. These photos are from about 1960 thru 1968. Most of the photos are from the post-race demolition derbies and and a few figure-8 races. Jumpin' Jack Summers passed away July 29, 2013.

  3. I know they were just old junkers back then but man, it hurts to see those cars destroyed just for fun. I don't even see one rusty one. :(
