this is my 53 chevy and the visor in the ''choped 40 fire truck'' post . tell me whatcha think, im going for a stock look bacause the truck is 99% stock all the way to the push button starter that still starts the 3 speed o.t.c. 235cc straight 6.

Keep it, hang it in the garage if you don't want to run it all the time. Nice to still have it laying around if you want to try a different look down the line.

Visors have caused some heated discussions in the past.

I like 'em. I'm keeping mine on my shoebox.

 

It depends on what look you are going for. If you want to leave the visor on drop it some more, stick a swamp cooler in the window and bolt on some Astros.

It appears that many of today's rodders think that anything from the fifties is "Cool" and should be incorporated on their current "throwback" cars. As one who was actually there and part of the scene in the 50's, let me assure you that sunvisors were definitely NOT cool. They were considered to be something an old man would stick on his car and generally in the same category as all the rest of the Western Auto junk like fake Caddy tail fins, phony dual pipes, mudflaps, illuminated winged hood ornaments, and the like.

Ditch the visor, sell it, buy food for the cat, he looks skinny.

 

Dale nailed it ... sell it for enough to split the manifold and buy some used chrome bumpers.

 

i bought a visor over a month ago for my wagon here an still have not got it yet what should i do any help is app.
