I am sorry to say that Mike Wells who went by the name "Doodlrodz" on this site, passed away a few days ago after a battle with a rare cancer. Mike was a good friend to a lot of us and a devoted H.A.M.B. member and participant. Mike Wells was an incredible hot rod designer and builder. His love of old school modified's is well known, as is his passion for 1932 Ford powered Worthingtons. Mike was a great person, a good father, grandfather and husband. He will be missed. True loss to the hobby, really enjoyed following his builds using parts that really needed saving. Years ago there was a somewhat rough '32 frame at Hershey, it looked like something Mike could use. I asked the seller about it, it was sold, Mike got there before me. Condolences and prayers going out to his family and friends. Bob

Sorry to hear of Mike's passing. I lost my oldest son and way too many relatives and friends to the evils of cancer. My condolences to the Wells family and his many friends.

  20. Mike contacted me a while back to remind me of my selling him a pair of mag wheels about 25 years ago. I enjoyed seeing his builds, they were original, but showed some great thought process. I too, will miss his posts.

Very sad news. I spoke with Mike many times via the phone or email usually regarding our common interest in Worthingtons. Always wanted to stop in for a visit but it simply never worked out. Maybe the lesson here is to make it happen before it is too late. My condolences to Mikes' family and friends.

    Damn,this is sad news.
I don't get on here an awful lot anymore but Mike and his dodge roadster was one of the inspirations to start building my Model T.
