Hot Rods 27t Pick up bed?

I am looking to take the box off the back to clean up the look a bit, any suggestions on what I should put back there? I was thinking of using a pick up bed.

A shorty bed would look nice, but you'd need a cover for it to be as practical as the box you have. That looks pretty water proof and secure.

 

If you got the room inside that box, why not just cut 5" off the bottom and re-install. Easy, peasy, lemon squeezy.

 

Maybe like this or just an oval gas tank?

 

Golf clubs? Just an idea

 

Find the back half of a touring.Put a snap on tounneu cover on it to hide the gas tank/battery.

 

Not a lot of length left behind the body for a pick up bed, even a short one and the chassis is very high so that would fill it up.Just a thought. JW
