Technical How do you install adjustable lifters in a ford flathead

Do you have to disassemble the engine to install adjustable lifters ?

As I recall, the valve/guide/spring assembly will have to be removed to replace the lifter. Of course the heads have to be removed as well as the intake manifold.

Google it, watch some of the youtubes. Running engine, valves might come out fairly easy. Dead, crusty engine it can be a real workout.
