Was going through some boxes of old junk and stumbled across these,
I bought these about the time I rejoined the HAMB in 2002
I see modernbeat is still around but Honest hasn't logged on in years.
Anyway finding this stuff was a definite flash back, it was a fun time.

  6. Honest is still around, he's on Instagram. This obscure little 2 issue magazine is the only press my Model A ever got, even though it was a totally made up article. in fact whats left of the sticker is still on my car

  7. Whenever a new small magazine came out, I would subscribe for the first year. This was to give the people involved a few bucks to help them keep going, and to see if they were publishing something to my liking. Most of the new small magazines didn't make it. I don't question why. I know that at least, I tried to help them, and I don't regret it. If you weren't willing to step up, don't complain when they are no longer around.

I enjoyed Magneto of course it was a New England magazine but all the cars were traditional. It was the best magazine ever. I wish it was still around but I still use them for inspiration and motivation.

Thank you for that I would absolutely sign up. I only have 11 of the Mags and would love to have more. If it happens I hope somebody posts it here.

Honest is still around. Like was noted, he's more active on Instagram.

I had some high hopes for that Magazine. Honest was drumming up content and I'd set it up and print it. The first two issues were pretty easy to get out, but distribution of the second issue got screwed up by Honest's personal life, and then I moved onto the Space Station program and started traveling 200+ days a year. Both of us had to put it on hold.

Recently I was going through a bunch of keepsakes and came across the handwritten stories and layouts for those two prints, along with some of the original artwork and computer scans of Honest's hand drawn art. Made sure it was still safe and repacked it.

The launch of the Rag was done with a Garage Crawl. I can't remember who organized it, but we had a batch of rods visiting collections and builders for it. If I remember right, Flt-Blk left the crawl mid-way to go home and jerry-rig his almost-completed truck so it could participate!

And @flt-blk if you want a replacement, I've got at least one bumper sticker left. I thought I had a stack of them around, but this is all I could find in my huge sticker stash. It's a little wrinkled, but it's yours.
