Hi folks! I promised I should post a thread on our Mercury that we are building now. ( I have posted a thread on our -54 mercury) This is from when we saw the car for the first time. The car was imported from Chile to Sweden a lots of years ago. We bought it and took it home! /Sanna
Finally all rust is gone. The body is painted under. And we could put them together again. The engine have also got a renovation. Now the fun begins! This is the inspiration picture!
Lower the roof alot... Simon had to do alot of welding and hammering to get the right and good looking shape on the rearend. /Sanna
After these pictures were taken, Simon have almost finished doing all the bodywork. Now we have to agree on what color the Mercury gonna have... thats not so easy! Hope you like it! You can also look at the thread MERCURY KUSTOM 1954 /Sanna
I am always amazed at how folks outside the US do this stuff. It's hard doing it right here where the cars were built originally. Tin hunting over seas must be a bear! Nice job!
With that kool profile it will look kool no mater what color you paint it. Lol! Thanks for sharing the pics.
The Mercury looks great, but I'm more impressed with that INSANE collection of hammers hanging from the wall!
That was like a Dream come true...look forward to the grand finale...thanks for sharing the transformation from duck to swan...nothing short of grace in metal from this front row seat...wow...your trademark here is fast evolving Thank you @Sanna&Simon...
Awesome car ....now. Do you have any pics of the chassis build, and how you achieved the killer stance.
Great job. I love it already and another nice Euro build car I have a 39 Merc coupe in Holland that came from Danmark in the 80's Hennie
You'll have to paint it what ever color Simon Says cuz well you know …Simon Says Beautiful car and great work!
Thank you for making the build thread. It looks like you and Simon have some serious building skills!
