John my Hudson from Australia when I did the BIG trip across USA. By that time Santa Maria was our last event then headed back to my friends place in Encinitas before shipping home. One month and we did over 6000 miles starting in Oakland where the car came in and then headed off to the east via Bakersfield then onto Route 66(partly) up to Dewey OK for the Stray Kat 500. Onto St Louis where I stayed with my sons in-laws in Imperial(married a St Louis girl but they live here). Met Kurt McCormick and wife Amy(who last year let me ride with them to CCR 2019 when we did a quick trip over) and saw his incredible collection of cars. The onto Auburn for all the Museums there and then into Detroit where we stayed for several days and did lots of stuff. Then we headed west again with lots of interesting stops on the way. I could expand on this but there is a thread somewhere that I kept updating as we travelled.
Maybe I will be back next year with the revamped Hudson(tail light changes and general clean up.
