You make some appreciated posts, but.........

What makes you think Corvette purists hang out here?

What makes your personal preferences so superior to their's?

Are they not entitled to their preferences?

Why your persistent behavior of giving those that don't walk, talk, look and think like you the finger?

How does your attitude reflect well and make a positive contribution to the hobby?

Obviously I'm an intellectual light weight. Help me understand how demeaning others attracts members to the hobby and the HAMB?

How many purists have you succeeded in guiding to see the light so they now appreciate the history and beauty of a car modified in the day? [IMG]

  7. If I read Tiki right, it's more of a wink and nod than a middle finger. The guy takes enjoyment in the most modified and hairy looking 'Vettes. In contrast to the hypothetical stereotype purist who sneers at bolt head markings. In fun.

Does anyone get Old Cars Weekly? Just got the new one today and it's a Corvette issue. There's an article about a '57 fuel car owned by Al Maynard from Michigan. Article talks like it's just written. Is there another Al Maynard, because I know THE Al Maynard died.

Thanks for that Carcruse. That takes Old Cars Weekly down a big notch in my book. I know Al died about 2011. I feel privileged to have met him around 2008 or 09 at Hershey. I had a good conversation with him about his convertible Z-28.
