I have good news to report! The car as of last week is now under new ownership and is scheduled to get finished.

I was wondering what happend to this car...

  7. How can you lose interest in a car like that, ESPECIALLY when it's at a point where the light at the end of the tunnel is so bright!

Good to hear it's got a new owner, so there be a heapin' helpin' of fresh inspiration.

I'm seeing 22" billets and candy tangerine over purple paint. :)

This chop is the best, just purchased a 49 fleetline fastback for my wife, she didn't want any parts of chopping it untill I showed her this fantastic chop, her 49 will soon go under surgery hope it turns out half as good as this one.

I linked this thread as the be-all, end-all chopped fleetline in a FB thread today, so I'm bumping it to the top.

Does anyone know whatever became of this car?

  23. Yes it is! Unfortunately, as far as I know it was never finished and it had switched hands a few times since Brian finished his work on the car. It was for sale not too long ago if I remember correctly.

I vaguely remember that as well. Was wondering if anyone knew where it was, if it's getting worked on, etc. I feel like this car is too nice to not be finished.
