Using pneumatic hammer to remove surface irregularities in hydraulic turbine runner. And a monster slip roll. Baldwin Locomotive Works, '42 ~
My dad had a Hudson Jet with the fenderskirts and continental kit. His was two toned black and maroon. It was the Super model with dual carbs. I loved that car. It was just cool.
Between this thread and the original I can't remember if these pictures have been posted. If I see comments about which ones are duplicates I'll remove those duplicates.
Close but not a Crosley prototype. It was a proposal for an engine to be built by Taylor Engines, Inc., Oakland, California. They actually built and tested a one 6 cylinder bank engine but didn't get the contract. They then teamed up with Crosley to build a 4 cyl engine using similar construction techniques for a light weight power plant for WW-2. It later became the Crosley CoBra engine they used in the post war Crosley car.
'll delete duplicates if I see the comments. I know the Mustang isn't HAMB friendly but the car behind it is just too cool not to post.
Chopdtop doesn't matter if they have been on before in the original thread. That was a long time ago and good to see them again.
To be honest I don't think I've seen more than one or two before. So please keep posting they are great.
