Hey dudes I was wondering if you can help me out. I am putting a 350 in my poncho and was wondering if I can use the stock rad. I was curious if it will hold the pressure of a 15 psi cap. If not can I get it recored to solve the problem? I really don't want to spend 600 bones for a rad.

Ask your rad shop,we have no way of knowing what it is or what shape it is in

  3. was told years ago by a radiator guy the stock style like the tri five chevies couldn't hold that much pressure because of the way they were made.

Just keep an eye open for cracks appearing, that's a lot of repeated flexing for the standard honeycomb type core.
Mine had several cracks in the top tank and that's from the standard 7psi cap.
