Anyone know how the weather stripping goes on the hinge side of the front of the doors on a 50 Pontiac. I’ve painted them and installing new weather stripping. It did not have it before I fixed doors. I figured out the bottom and top but not the hinge side. Anyone have pics of a 49-53 Chevy Pontiac olds door weather strip to see? Thanks

They didn't use a normal weatherstrip between the hinges, a rubber flap (Steele Rubber calls it a bellows seal) went between the door and cowl in that area. Found this out when working on sister-in-laws 49 Olds wagon a few years back. We could not figure out a good way to install them with the front fenders on at that time so it still doesn't have them.
