History Looking for Information on this '34 Ford

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by streetrodder51, Jan 19, 2020.

  1. I will definitely be stopping to see you in Louisville, can't wait to hear some more stories about this '34. I appreciate all the information!

  2. Thanks everyone for the reply's I definitely hit the jackpot on answers like Tim said. Also 34larry, I'm located in Janesville, Wisconsin. Hopefully I can get some more pictures of this '34 from when it was first built. I would like to put together a little book to keep with the car on the history of it.

@streetrodder51 what a cool car at any rate, but then to know it built at Blair's by P-Wood!

Hey guys, we digitized the complete "Ride 'Em, Wreck 'Em, and Never Check 'Em" article from TRJ #17 and you can read it for free on our site here. And, because everyone loves pictures, here's @Pete Eastwood's Deuce three-window before the infamous teardown in the summer of 1979. Screen Shot 2020-04-15 at 2.23.41 PM.png

As a kid on a FMF BMX alloy framed bike I was there watching “The Hooligans” work @ taking the 32 Coupe apart. A lot of people were there and you can tell by the amount of alloy left on the ground, they had consumed many refreshments;).
The 34Woody that Peter swapped CW-Moss for his coupe body I’ve cared for over 24 yrs. I 1st saw it @ P&J’s back where he lived over his shop. That whole piece of property is a great little place, tons if History made there, but P&J’s kept “Bankers Hours” so one really had to know when to drop in. I’m glad that TRJ-Steve scanned this article, there’s many pix of the going’s on of that “Tear Down Day in June of 79” 56BB34B2-DBE1-426A-A5E2-790244C6ED5A.jpeg BTW-The Builder/Former owner (Craig Felbinger) of the subject 34 5-W Drove with P-Wood in this very Woody to a a show in San Jose back in 80/81 I can’t tell you how many cases of beer or water they and the woody consumed but Brian Bauer has one of the best pix of the Woody with a full head of stream Spewing out of the leaky cap at speed!!!!! Craig is a fellow OUTRIDER Member and would love to have this Woody, he has a couple “metal roofs”, so he’s “hanging ten“ with them.

  19. I'm still looking for pictures of Craig's 5 window from back when it was built. If anyone has any pictures I would love to see them. I have talked with Craig a few times and he is still looking for some pictures. But if anyone else has some, feel free to post them!!

  20. Sounds like quite the stable! Would love to find a 3 window some day!
