I met the owner last June at the CCR and commented that he had Hudson taillights on his Merc and I had Merc taillights on my Hudson. So I am about to rectify that and scored a nice set of 48 Hudson taillights that we are going to fit with them frenched in minimally and in the midddle of the seam.
Also bumper overriders that will incorporate the turn signals. Previously had someone here do a photoshop of the changes and shown here. The taillights will be more centered over the seam.

Dave Wolk is a great guy..... I like the taillight change I'm not sure on the over riders. I think they will take away from the Hudson taillights. I would add them to the existing license plate guards. Just my 2 cents that you didn't ask for Sorry. Lol!

The over-riders we are going to use are not as bulky as the ones shown. We will do a mock up first to see how they look. Rego rules stipulate minimum height for turn signals.

  14. OH. MY. GOODNESS. @straykatkustoms where'd you get that photo?

So much cool there. Unchopped mild Mercury, looks like nice paint, louvered hood, slight rake, custom grill, and those ripple pipes!

Got to spend some time @ the CCR 2019 parked beside Dave Wolks Merc. What a beautiful Merc, and a great guy, very pleasant. All the people and Cars are just great.

I think he cast his own set. So they would sit perpendicular, straight up and down. Overheard McPhail talking to him about the set(Wolk`s Design) he had on his 41 Buick. Someone saw his and was planning on using an original set on there Buick after seeing McPhail`s.

Mickey what are we talking about here? The Hudson tail lights? I thought they were a stock item he fitted. They looked like that when I saw the car at the CCR.
