Hot Rods Have you driven your hot rod this decade?

No but have started one,I was going to get the sunliner out today but did not happen.

 

I drove the roadster down to the road and picked up the trash cans. Can't really call that driving it, now can I?

 

Went out for groceries and coffee yesterday. Came out from coffee shop to find this little 53MG parked next to me.

 

I changed the M/C and bled the brakes last week. I went for a short ride on Sunday to check everything out.

I think it was the 3rd or 4th day of the new year. Drove to the doctor At least the drive was good Now the drive is too icy, I'd have to use a four wheel drive to get it back in the garage.

I drove the sunliner a little last night hoping the trans mechanic in the bottle would have helped more then it did but time for a rebuild.

 

Yes, I had the '32 out yesterday for a little spin. It was in the low 60's here and sunny. Couldn't believe it for mid January!

 

Mine has not been driven since may of 1987. Was my pop's car. I was the last to drive it. Backing out of the driveway, pushed in the clutch then bam, knock, knock, knock, kuput. that is when it got parked and pretty much sat til 2010. welded the MII front from heidts in for my pop. He passed after a battle with alzheimers in 2012. Then it sat til 2014 when I brought it to my place. Since it has been chopped, and not much else done.

 

Nope, it was -16F this morning. Besides technically as there isn't a year zero the start of the new decade is next year (2021).
