Features Corvette hot rods - picture thread

There are several Corvettes and a bunch of vintage Gassers in this video of vintage drag racing around the country. Willys, Anglia etc

 

Cool video Jason. Reminds me of why I like this stuff. I saw a few familiar cars and I few I could not make out or identify. There was the Bergen and Burrows 56 Tijuana Taxi on the truck bed, then of course Earl Britt in the Pizza Man, Mauri Rose Jr in the green 59 (Lou's Speed Shop) that competed in a ton of meets in the late 60s and 70s. I could not make out the blue solid axle racing the other early Vette although I wish I could.

Cool-great way to start out the morning. Makes you want to go out and make a few passes.

Love that car is only 2 yrs. old and he or her is racing it that's what it's all about.

chevy57dude, I agree with what you said above, but this hood below has been growing on me too. I'm really starting to like it.

 

That Vette was at the Woodward Cruise some years back.....
