Technical What does this part do

    I did a quick search and dont know what this part does. It came off of the end of steering column/box on my 38 ford pickup. Thanks in advance for help. 20200106_123744.jpg
     
  2. Thats the bottom of the light switch housing. You have the switch on the steering wheel for hi/lo beams and the hornbutton. Thats the junction/distribution box.

    Awesome! Thanks. I new it had something to do with horn and possibly lights but didn't know what it was called. Thanks HAMB
     
  4. That part is called a headlight bail.

    The "bail" is the wire clip that holds the light switch body in place.
