Hay Guys, I for one love seeing your pictures of old tin. Rust is my favorite color! lol I think we should just tell a little about the photo. Like this one is available, or not, or found this on the old interweb, or spotted this, but didn't talk to anyone. This is a FUN thread. You can never get enough pictures of old Tin. Just my 2 cents. From my walk in the local old junkyard today

 

I thought old yards like that were all gone.

 

There are a few left. We recently pulled a few parts from one near here in Blaine, TN. The cars look much better than those in the previous post thanks to not having trees overhead

 

Some in my local old yard can not be seen in the warmer months and they are about toast but do have a few good parts left.

 

What's so egregious is over the years we've seen so many nice original complete cars in people's yards and they won't sell them.
Right now for years down a back road someone had a car under a cover, couldn't tell what it is. About a year or so cover rotted through and it's a '69 Boss Mustang. It soon will be worthless.

Yeah tucked away, in the back corner of a mezzanine with piles of stuff in the way.

 

Saw these yesterday in Carrolton,Mo. Guy has an old yard full of old cars.Been there for years. Gas monkey garage bought a model A sedan from him. N o one was around yesterday,may go back up and see if I can find someone this week .

@papa's 39 koop That dude is cool. Friend bought an Oldsmobile from him. He goes to a lot of the carshows around here in his panel truck. Everything was for sale last time I was in his yard. He still buys and sells vehicles.
