Projects Color choices for my air cleaner, opinions welcome

Exactly, all you need is the stock air cleaner which aren't very expensive and cut it up. Much cheaper then the fiberglass replicas but it won't have the lip on it. My picture shows the lip on the cover but that's been cut off to lower the air cleaner so it fits under the hood. I'm also using the shorter Chrysler 300 air filter 1959-E I think from K&N over the stock one so I can fit it under the hood.

 

Semi gloss black.. I prefer painted valve covers also.. Engine bays should be about the engine...

Maybe 2 tone; color of the valve covers on the bottom portion with engine color on top.

 

Blue, to match engine.
Too many colours makes it too busy, especially in a confined area.
Keep it simple, two colours maximum............

.......and next would be the heater box on firewall........
