    Hey guys,
Can anyone let me know how to fit the handles and spring locking mechanism on a 34 Ford coupe. The bonnet/ hood is a 4 piece and there are 4 handle/ spring locks supplies. I Have looked at them in many pics however unable to see how they are attached and most important operate.

Hi and yes I am from Perth Western Australia. I will need to ask at the next meeting I attend. Most run 3 piece bonnets however I liked the look of the 4 piece hence why I am fitting one.
Thank you for your valued advise.

Here is a picture of my original hood sides without the handles. When you you put the handles on the hood you move the spring towards the bottom of the hood and install handles. The spring will hold the handles up. Then install a cotter pin in the pivot side of handle to hold it on the hood.

Thanks for the information however....How does it lock the hood down.
I can see where the handles go in just unsure as to how or what locks down the hood.
