Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by k1w1rodder, Mar 11, 2013.

  1. Nice morning here today, hows the drought up your way? Good weather for finishing your modified. I figured the motometer could be your handywork. Very nice touch.

  2. Hey Jeff, great weather... unfortunately its also great for my work so thats where I am for the weekend. But I might get some "homers" done:D:D:D

Looks like a bit of fun.

  6. the most common one used is HQ Holden, similar to a vega box

  7. The one he's using is an HQ Holden one (GM Australia, and about 1973-74 vintage) they are redelly avaliable over this way and work great. Ive also used small and compact ones from japanese cars(yea yea I know, jap shit) like Suzuki Jimny and Mazda. 37 Ford work great as well, getting a bit hard to come by over here now though.

  8. VW Kombi has been used a lot (I have one in my AV8) but they're getting hard to find and silly money now.
BTW: I've renamed our slice of paradise the land of the long hot drought.... :D

  9. Yep . 10 weeks since a drop of rain in this area. (central north island)

I intend to swop out the  blue HT wires soon as I can get a set of black ones.

and lastly doors back on waiting for upholstery and glass.

That will be it for a while till I get the last bits and pieces done.
