I put a set of Porters on my 1939 Ford - has old school 327 with 30/30 cam. I am using 2.5 inch Ram head manifolds and 2.5 mandral bent pipes. They really sound great.

 

I have 2 (i forget the length) on a dual exhaust warmed up 350 in a truck, sound great, really well made and heavy duty. I'll be using one with the straight 8 in my buick when i get to building the exhaust.
