I don’t want to sell this as one thing and it’s another. I have attached two photos of two hood sides, help -what are these?
    Thank you in advance.

  3. It looks like one on my '31 Model A. I believe they were the same '30 to '31.

To get you closer to the '30 '31 date, if you look at the rubber hood latch bumpers on Charlies hood, they were changed from a round shape to triangular like his in April of 1931. I can't tell the shape of yours buy the pictures.

Thank you very much, I appreciate the help, they have the triangle shape latch. I don’t know if u can answer this part or not. Any thoughts on approximate value?i have seen them for 1500 and for 200. I don’t want to waste any ones time by advertising them for more than they are worth. I don’t have the hood just the to side panels-lol- I think there may even be some original Henry Ford paint on them ? Lol

  7. Pete: I talked to guy once tht had a '32 5wndw that He said was an early '32 and IIRC he called it an "AB". It had model A type hood latches and the rear louver on the hood sides were punched, not solid. Ring a bell? Tim

  9. I found a pic of the 5wndw. He bought it in Iowa and is now in the Dakotas. Real good car for anyone to build.

A real nice clean hood just sold on eBay for $200, complete with the top. Nobody in the history of the world has ever gotten $1500 for those. '32 hood sides, maybe, but even that would seem like a lot.

Yours do seem to be in nice shape, If I had those to sell, I'd probably put a price tag of $150 on the pair and see how much interest I got.
