Question: Was the rear floor pan on a 32 Roadster welded in?

I need to replace mine with a reproduction and want to make sure I follow a more traditional / stock replacement.

    Cheers,
    Aaron

    I believe they were riveted?

As krylon states, they were riveted in. The rivets are available from the Big Flats Rivet Co., they specialize in antique Ford and other makes rivets.

This is an original `32 roadster floor.
Rivets, lots of them. If you are real fussy the bottoms of them were bucked with a waffle pattern bucking block.

Thanks guys. Someone cut out the original floor and used pop rivets with galvanized panels. Ya yippy.

I’ll give it my best to get a stock look without much to go on - beyond a thousand pop rivet holes.
