I am disassembling my front end on my 32 Ford to replace the drop axle with a new one. I have a question about my current setup. I have a 4inch drop tube axle (unknown manufacturer, but the grease fittings point inward if that helps) and it doesn't have the typical keyed bolt that holes the kingpin to the axle in place (the axle doesn't even have a hold for the keyed bolt).

So.... is the kingpin just pressed in? If so, does it need to be pressed out or would a brass hammer and punch be enough to separate the kingpin from the axle?

look closely, all over the end of the axle, maybe there's a set screw?

The terrifying part of this story is.... no bolt, I even tapped the kingpin and it moved up and out.
All new parts have been ordered

Picture of the axle would be nice.

Your king pin bosses should be a decent wall thickness and will accept a 1/4-20 thread, drill and tap for a hardened socket head set screw and put a flat on the king pin for it.
