Can anyone familiar with a WCFB explain to me how this piece is supposed to work? I'm setting up this Carb I just rebuilt but this tab that grabs the pin in the base of the carb seems to be keeping the secondarys from opening, even with the choke open. I've got a half mind to leave it off but then I won't have a fast idle with the choke closed. 20190930_173839.jpeg

I have some tech sheets at work for the 1954 Chrysler version. PM me tomorrow in the daytime and I will copy and post what I have.

I got it guys. After the rebuild I just threw in the slow idle speed screw a few turns. After I backed it off properly the throttle linkage moves forward far enough when the choke plate is open to reset that lever. Thanks everyone!
