The “Royal Rumble” has been a small hamb type car show locally for about 10 years now. With their show location sold, a change of venue to a small airfield now 40 minutes away brought about a combination of two very different car events today with some planes scattered about also. A few photos of (hopefully) hamb friendly ones. Half way to the event, this pulled out in front of me. The day was off to a good start.
Cheers for the pics,, I remember those days of being able to put your helmet on the ground, do that here and it will be full of ants that bite and sting like hell !
BSA bantam. My friend has two like that. I had a ride on them the other day. First motorbike I've ridden in 45 years.
You’re welcome. Actually, although I don’t know you, you were the inspiration for me taking photos yesterday. I don’t usually bother taking photos, but I always appreciate your photos from the shows that you attend, so I made a point of taking the IPad with me so others can see a little of the NZ scene. Probably about 200 cars there, but pretty thinned out by lunch time.
Also could not help noticing how many left hand drive cars there were. As left hand drive cars were not sold new here, it means that they were imported into NZ more recently. Thanks.
