Wish I could say it's filler free, but it's a lot straighter than the first time I built it. Still not bad for an 85 year old car.[IMG]

  5. Looks good Bill. Did you make the firewall mods from flat steel or use a piece from something else?

Leftover part from a brookville car plus homemade. Bought a tunnel. The only part that comes loose is over the shifter. Don't like wood toe boards.

Nice work. I really dig the use of a ford powerplant too!

[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]. Been doing body work. Car is fairly straight for an 85 year old.

I'm relying on the low torque of the 289 and the fact that I'm 56 and will try to be easy on the clutch. The open rear is out of a 47 truck and seems a little beefier than a torque tube rear.

Bobbed the rear frame rails so I made a bumper that bolts to the body. I used the 32 tank in the trunk. I don't like the 32 tank hanging off the back of a model A, it doesn't look right.
Going to put the body on this weekend. Will post a few after that. 237DFED7-AB61-439C-B99A-D5D0F6D13AEE.jpeg 886FDA0C-8F21-492E-AA08-F3F899CC5F51.jpeg B323870B-7C81-40D7-8161-BC900F24408B.jpeg

I like the vintage look shifter handle adapted to the new transmission :)
