Projects '30 coupe with a '37 truck grill ?

I like the look of the A grill on my coupe … but for potential future fan placement [sorry]…
I grabbed a couple '37 truck grills to narrow and chop... any pix of a '30-'31 coupe with a '37 truck grill out there.... ton of work for me to cut one to see if I like it... thanks !

I think that a '37 truck grille would clash with the lines of a Model A. It slopes where the Model A has lines that are strictly vertical.

 

Guy here in town is looking for a '37 truck grill if you want to sell,he's on CL often.

I dont have a picture but I believe Eli English's coupe from New Hampshire has a narrowed truck grill.

 

Yes , Eli's coupe had a narrowed 37 truck grille.

 

Perhaps it would be a good idea to ask the fellows at the photo shop thread to put together some samples before you spend any money.

 

would be interested in at least seeing it photo shopped. don't know till you try.

 

Wish you guys would leave those 37 ford truck grills alone. They already are a bitch to find.
