Looking for pics of silver cars with white tops and white interiors. The wife thinks it would look good on my 60 Olds convertible. I think it's an odd combo. Prove one of us wrong. Thanks Papajohn
“Happy wife, happy life”........... BTW, I’m with you on this........but there are potential ‘dividends’ doing it her way, no matter how it turns out......
I don't think it is the exterior color that is the OP's issue....my take is that he doesn't favor a white interior.....and neither would I. Tastes differ and I understand that, but a white interior would be a deal breaker for me. Those that like them should have them. Ray
I cant show you mine here (OT), but my Olds 442 is Tahoe turquoise (1968 GM) with white rag top and pearl white guts (black rugs). It works. I think your silver exterior will be fine. BTW, mine has been built for over 20 years and stands tall. Done a lot of drag duty over the years and the pearl white interior still looks pretty damn good.
I owned a teal colored convertible with a white top and a white interior. Never again will I own a white interior car. It was an absolute bear to keep clean, and stained very easily.
I bought a 55 Caddy convertible years ago that had white leather interior . That was a pink car and I took a lot of abuse over driving a pink car. So I painted it white and then it was a cool car.
Hell, I'd go for it, white leather if you can. I've been waiting for some pics, as the only one that comes to mind is another O/T Cutlass my cousin owned back around 1980. It had a white vinyl top until it got chewed up in our Grandpa's barnyard.
Definitely an unusual combination, but I think it would look great. Maybe a silver on the darker side would make a nice contrast. Here's an OT car built in those colors. Pretty sharp! https://www.mecum.com/lots/LN1117-298002/1971-oldsmobile-442-w-30-convertible/
