Great photos, you got one of my wife LOL. I have around 5000 photos of the 3 days as well. Very cool show, thank you for all the time to upload those photos.

 

After the red 270 photos of Deuces on the Parliament building grounds and we find a little black shoebox sitting there.

 

One hell of a job on your posting these. That was a BUNCH of photos and posting them all was a lot of work. Thanks for taking the time to do it for us.

 

Thanks, the challenge has been making sure that I get the right photos posted. I've had to edit a bunch.
If you go to or have friends going to Victoria don't try to walk all of Butchart Gardens and then take the ferry and drive 250 + miles in the same day. I'm still a bit tired from Monday. That and I walked five or six miles a day in Victoria.

 

Looking at the McGlaughlin a mildly leaking valve cover gasket on a modern V8 may be small spuds.

 

There were only a handful of Mercs at the show but the one on this page was a knockout.

The 41 Ford Ragtop in the bottom photo in this group looks a whole lot like My Dad's 41 Ragtop that he bought when he came back from WWII and dated my Mom in. That one was more than a bit special to this old fart and if it is yours thank you for taking it to the event .

 

Not sure what happened with the last post but my internet is a mess this morning as usual. Takes about 30 minutes to upload 20 photos so I actually do get stuff done between posting each batch .

 

Some interesting flatheads in this bunch. If you were into flatheads, early hemis and Nailheads you hit the jackpot at Deuce Days.

 

I'm thinking I first saw this T with the coke box trailer about 40 years ago at a run in the PNW.

Then it was the hike down to the lot by the docks where it was almost like a separate event that was still bigger than some local events I have been to. A lot of the cars were gone that I had seen from above earlier so I think this is where a lot of guys who had to slip out early to make the ferries parked as it was a lot simper to get out of.

This is the next to the last batch as I didn't have room to get them all on one post. I kept thinking that I should have just towed my boat to Anacortes and Cruised it up to Victoria and tied up at the dock. Dock space there might be as much as a hotel room though.
The little black 29 tudor just flat spun my wheels and was my favorite Model A out of the bunch.

The last of the batch the photo of the sedan headed past the opening of the parking garage as I walked up the ramp being the last photo I took of a car on Sunday as he headed out.
If I put 2.00 in a jar every day for the next three years I should be able to go to the next one if they decide to do another.
From registered car folks and the bucket list car folks who may have outnumbered the ones who registered twice over it probably took 3 million into Victoria as a conservative estimate figuring 1K per car and I doubt few of us did it for under that. Throw in 4 days of shopping time for the wives and girlfriends and the tally goes up.

Thursday 100 mostly on the ferry dock at Anacortes
Friday 361 down around the host hotel
Saturday 217 I slacked off a bit because I had taken photos of a lot of the cars I saw already.
Sunday 1155 according to the count on my photos. I must have missed a bunch of cars as I took several photos of some and may not have searched out every back street.
401 on Monday at Butchart Gardens and in line at Sidney for the ferry.

Looks like you got damn near every car. That is not easy at a show of this scale. Just walking and seeing them all is hard enough.

This was one of my favorites, but by the time I went back to get some photos, it was already waiting for the ferry.
