    no matter what, if your place gets damaged by a quake it sucks - most do not have earthquake insurance - plus, all of the smaller aftershocks can keep you on edge for a while - do not envy people in the immediate recent big quake area - Son and I were at Candlestick Park in 1989 for the Baseball World Series in San Francisco when the 8.9 Quake hit

    I'd snuck out of work early to load up on beer for the game. In my apt. watching them interview Dave Parker when it hit. When the TV went out, I was pissed...thinking I was the only one who wasn't going to see the game...lol

    Saw a brief news clip of someone who lost classic cars in a fire after the quake. Sad.
