Has anyone measured off the center of this cross member? I'm trying to measure for the motor mounts, but kicks back unlike the stock one

I did a new 47/48 customer chassis several years ago using the repro straight axle crossmember from CE. The only way I finally got the engine right was to use a stock cowl I had in the bone yard. I didn't trust my measurements off the crossmember. Must have worked as the customer seemed happy when I got it done?

If I knew how to attach the discussion I would have, but I don't You can type in 41-48 ford front crossmember in the search function and you view it. Hope this helps. Regards.
