Hot Rods Clutch pedal binding

I have a Pete and Jakes under car brake and clutch system. I'm using a wilwood master and slave. I have disconnected everything and the clutch pedal is still harder to move than it should be. Brake pedal is easy to move. I don't see any way to lube the pivot short of taking the car apart to dismantle it.( no room around it) Anybody else have this problem, ideas to free it up, lube it.

 

Some sort of dry lube on any pivoting or friction surface.

I like to use a motorcycle chain lube with moly. It penetrates then evaporates like most dry lubes, but is much more heavy duty than most others and stays in place better. The other good thing is it's safe around rubber and plastic and comes with a spray tube, making it really good for hard to reach places.

Works great for lubing leaf springs also.

 

Drill a hole in the moveable part down to the pivot shaft, and tap it for a zerk. Put in a zerk fitting and grease it. Done

anything metallic that moves need lubrication .

 

Got it apart, found the bronze bushing and the shaft were having a issue. There was still some mollie grease present. Drilled and tapped the bushings for grease zerks.
