Picked up my Dad today and took a short roadtrip with one of my best friends, Gary, to pick up his "new" roadster...302 Ford and Ford 9" makes this car all Ford. Breakfast on trip home revealed his ideas for change...new steelie wheels w/poly tires, removal of all the graphics and as much of the billit as possible. 40 mile trip home in 100+ temps and the car performed very well....great addition to his current small collection, Pro street Anglia, 62 Corvette and 64 Fairlane thunderbolt clone (w/real 427 side oiler)...congrats Gary, should be fun car. Oh yeah...the 50 Chevy Fleetline in the garage was way cool...
No I dont...I asked but he wasnt sure...they fit nicely, adjust forward and back and tilt forward with storage behind.
Deal with the Street Rod crap as and when necessary. Drive the dog snot out of it in the mean time. Hell; maybe even leave all that '80's/'90's stuff as a reminder to the rest of us of what not to do and STILL drive the dog snot out of it. If ya start pulling it apart it might get lost in the shuffle and become an estate sale item down the road.
Keep us posted! Looks killer, I bet a wheel/tire/ header change and half the work will have been done.
