I want to sincerely thank all the HAMB’ers that posted on this thread. Theresa is a fantastic lady, and I am so fortunate to have her in my life. She enjoys my car hobby, as she once drove a dirt track car. She has definitely improved my life!
When I get the pics that my sister took I will post one. But remember too that you won’t see a young couple. We are both past being young a long time ago
Dad always said, "Just admit that you are wrong no matter what. Then just go to your shop. She'll not follow you and you are both happy" Works!
And last night a Kinky Honeymoon ..... Kink in the hip Kink in the shoulder Takes on a new meaning suggesting to your new bride let’s get kinky baby
Thanks for the post. That was a very important day in our lives, I certainly don’t feel like I’m 70, so hopefully we will have many happy years together. I want to thank everyone who posted on here for their well wishes
Congrats OLDSMAN, and as someone on the H A M B once said:"you may have to grow old, but you don't have to grow up", so, be blessed & encouraged as you & your lovely bride grow together. mike
Well how are you two feeling today? My wife and I have been together 45 years this past June 1st. When my students used to ask me how old I was I simply replied that I was old enough to know better but young enough not to care!
Very good, we had a busy weekend, but we are both very happy. Trying to get the convertible ready to go to the Father’s Day run in Ord, NE
Ever notice how the venues shrink in proportion to how many times you've been married? I married my late wife (RIP 5 years tomorrow...) for selfish reasons. In 1983, I figured I'd be dead if I was left to my own devices. Wives keep you alive, words to literally live by. They need to protect the meal ticket.
Congrats we have our 50th in August. Hopefully the kids keep it low key. We are headed to Victoria for the deuce run next month and calling that our anniversary trip. Normally we spend our anniversary in some place on Puget Sound on the boat with a stop at a nice restaurant. as it usually is close to the same time as our boat group's party.
All these posts to my thread just prove that the HAMB really has some fantastic people. They are true car people, but very truely care about people!
