Working on a good location for rear wheels... I’ve been told that wheels should move rearward 3/4-1” from stock, but looks like stock location is pretty close to matching body reveal around wheelwell... oh, these are setup wheels, and are a little short, only 30” tall... will be getting 31’s later to fill up well... I did not know wheels were not in the correct location on Fords. I know the Chebbies need to be moved back to be correct .
Dave I’ve been told the axle placement is to match the openings in rear fenders, so losing the fenders changes position slightly Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I see . I ran my 32 for a bit without fenders and wheel was correct . But the location could have been changed , because of the buggy spring mount I used to mount the 9 in moved it without me knowing it . You are correct in saying that the tire must fit the opening for the look . I’m just a bit stupid when it comes to Ford issues .
Heck, I’m learning as I go along... lots to learn on this ol’ gal Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app

Got the holes in, and back to mocking up rear T spring...hmmmmm... don’t think these stock brackets are gonna work... Gonna have to either gouge these all up, or fab up some that will work for new extreme angle Sent from my iPhone using The H.A.M.B. mobile app
I used stock model A u-bolt location but ran mine with the nuts on top....flipped them upside down for quick change clearance. Worked great! Just like this photo captured here off the HAMB...can't find a photo of mine but it's just like this.
