Doesn't look like the pleats line up...I hope I'm seeing it wrong. Picky but a must for me...love all the black and the Y.

    That is some CLEAN work.
Nice car, nice job, nice shiny.

  3. ..................I see what you're saying, but I think it's a combination of the camera angle and the "roll " of the seat back where it meets the seat bottom.

IT'S ALIVE !! The coupe was driven around the parking lot at Barillaro's for the first time today. No words can describe how happy I am with this bitchin hotrod Mike and Jim built for me. Can't wait to get in on the road next week after they get everything dialed in to near perfection. Then it's off to Kirk's to finish the upholstery. 20180504_161830.jpg 20180504_162306.jpg 20180504_162407.jpg 20180504_164055.jpg

  6. From the Shades of the Past show in Sept. First chance that I had to see the car in person. It's as nice in person as in all the pictures. 20180908_085900.jpg

Thanks BigO , It's about to get even better I just dropped it off today at Kirks Kustom-Upholstery to have the interior completed. I have been driving all summer without interior panels or headliner. Just waiting my turn at Kirk's. I should have it back in about three weeks as a nice Christmas present to myself!

  9. I'm excited for you, keep us updated on it.

  10. Just went thru the thread, absolutely great car, particularly like the Y Block, tho have just a question re the engine mounts and am not being picky but the pics from August 2015 show the neat engine mounts and there is a cotter pin shown but the hole in the bolt looks about 1/2" above the castle nut and would appear to be ineffective..........a few years ago had a mate loose a tie rod due to the cotter pin shearing and since have been leery about them, that's all.........lol.............but its a beautiful car, a real credit to you and the guys that built it..........regards from Oz........Andy Douglas

Thanks HRP that means a lot coming from you because I know you've been involved in the hobby long enough to know "the right stuff" when you see it.

Thanks Tim, I enjoy it more everyday I had it out for a drive this morning. I've put over 11,000 miles on since it was finished less than two years ago. Also just noticed I had not posted a picture showing the great upholstery work by Kirks Custom Upholstery. 20181202_162324.jpg 20181202_162434.jpg 20181202_162709.jpg 20181202_162341.jpg 20181202_162453.jpg
