Well it's been a typical birthday morning getting Happy birthday messages via Text... Messenger... Instagram... Fb... And the HAMB. As I was going through them I realized that this is my first birthday without BobK being top of the list in my Happy Birthday pms! Missed seeing him at the usual shows and wandering around the country roads... Phone calls... But most of his smiley emotive Birthday and seasonal greetings! God I miss that bugger!!!!
Happy Birthday Mark. BobK was always the first to send me a birthday greeting and he is greatly missed.
Bob and I shared the same Birthday and we had a little competition to see who could send a Happy Birthday PM first, Bob usually beat me to the punch. One of the last B'Day PM's from Bob, I loved his sense of humor. Hey Danny: BB
reflecting back on friends and special times is part of a birthday celebration - hope that it was a happy one
I never had the privilege of meeting Bob K. but I think of him often. I love following along on his and Maggie's trips.
Be thankful that you have any that would take the time to wish you an annual best wishes. Hope this year stands out among the best stranger. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Well here is a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I'm another that misses Bob's posts and travel threads. He was within 60 miles of my house on his road trip out to the PNW but the timing was off to meet up with him.
I just picked up this Studebaker sign that used to belong to Bob, it is now one of my prize posessions. That also happens to be a Stude 289 in my Model A parked under the sign.
Was he the fellow with the early 50's Chev that drove up to Alaska a couple of years back? If he was then I miss those road trips as well. If it is not him well I'm not sure who you all are talking about.
Yep, missed the birthday wish PM from Bob as well. For that matter miss seeing him at Bonneville or other shows where we both were around same location.
Doug B. We also sat with him for awhile the same weekend. He was a gentlemen and a true ambassador for our hobby. Dave
