I have searched for info on this site and can’t seem to find how to set-up cross steering. With the wheels straight direction way should the pitman arm face? How do I set this up??

    Thanks a lot

You might want to tell us what kind of car and suspension setup you have.

  4. That's going to depend on what side of the Axle centerline the box is mounted on and weather the link is for or aft of the sector gear.

It’s mounted on the driver side to the inside of the frame

  7. Typically the box is mounted with pitman arm pointed forward and behind the cross steer link.

Try too get a good estimate of ride height so you place the box at the right height too, and the drag link will clear all the other stuff in the way. Over, through, or under the hairpins, just like the tie rod. You may tilt the box if that helps, but not necessary.

Order yourself a Pete & Jake's catalog: https://www.peteandjakes.com/catalog/ There's lots of good diagrams in there, as well as good parts. Their website has good tech as well.
