Looking thru some old pictures this morning and found this four door hardtop '59 Chevy I owned back in 1964. Nothing special, 283 with auto, but I really liked it, even though it was not a two door. I have always liked this roof line, so thought I would share. Gives a nice look to the MoreDoors..
i'm not much on 4 doors but getting ready to rebuild a 64 impala 4 door hardtop. first 4 door i ever wanted to fix up. the hardtops have there place.
I grew up down the alley from a guy that had a 64 4 door hard top, I think that car had one throttle position and it wasn't idle.
Here's my old 64 hardtop. Many many many miles in that thing. Beer can under the rear bumper showing how low it was. Static and drug on everything but it was fun.
Never owned one..... but had a girlfriend back in the day that had a black one..... so I got to ride in it a lot. Bones
Have a 4dr race car/street car. It’s called an English Ford PREFECT. I just tell everyone I have an Anglia—-lots of people know or have heard of an Anglia, but not many know what a Prefect is. You will see 10 Anglias for every Prefect.I recently switched over from a full race flathead v8 to a 86 T-bird SVO 2.3 liter(factory turbo) 5 spd;actually Ford in a Ford!
I, too, am not a fan of four door cars, even as nice as the '63 Ford right above is. For me, they don't have the rebellious mystique that a modified two door has. There are always exceptions to the rules, though. Bob's '59 Impala looks good in the vintage photo.
