Well, finally found some bucket seats for my 32 Ford five window. First, both are powered. (rare, nice for the honey, like the 4spd....auto..). Second they fit El perfecto. No room left...but nice. Third, the backs are the right height and the parcel tray is preserved.

    Maybe take the headrests off?

Not very different than '85 Fiero seats which were a popular '90s choice-only the 84/85s have speakers, the later years don't. I like the seats, minus the power option-but it is your car and I don't see where you asked for opinions.

No harm intended on my part.
    I think kb knew it.
    Purposeful disrespect doesn't fulfill me.
Actually, I was trying to soften the "streetrod" comment. Lol
Glad you found some seats, kb. They do look nice...and comfortable. I've looked at modern buckets too. And it's usually just the darned headrests that bug me. Always thought that the solution might be to simply take 'em off.
Gotta say...I'm actually jealous of anyone...including you, kb...who can build a hot rod Model A.
No matter what seats you use.

    No harm no foul.
I'ma no fan of headrests either.
Plan is to recover in a two tone kingranch saddle brown.
Headrests are easily removed. They do offer safety should some cell phone duffus rear ends your ride. (been there).
I threw the thread up cause there had been queries with no real answers.
When upholstered I'll toss them up again.

I'm not feeling it, I much prefer the bench style seat in a 32 Coupe.

I gotta agree the bench seats look a lot better in a traditional coupe. Granted the new buckets will support your backside better, and as I get older I appreciate all the support I can get. Especially on long trips. But maybe you can find a good upholsterer who can change up the padding in a bench to give support where needed. And keep the style.

I like bench seats in small 30's cars also...and lower top than the side windows too...

I'm with the bench seat crowd, but you and your wife like them and that's good enough for me! Good score.

These are in a (heaven forbid) glass 32 that I keep eyeballing on the net. Not a Hamb friendly car but one you can drive coast to coast without a second thought except where the next gas and food are. The backs do sit lower. My wife is 4 ft 10 and I am 5 10 so we need a seat that can move if she might have to drive it. I prefer the bench though. seats in Glass 32.jpg
