    Have model A sedan
    Sbc with mustang 2 independent
    Coil over shocks
    Current coils are almost fully compressed with load
    Car riding rough. I think coils are weaker than should be. Not much travel.
    Has anyone experienced this and what lb rating coil worked

    Stiff suspension on a very light car makes a hard ride. You're looking for compliant shocks and springs to get a smooth ride. A's were only slightly changed from the supple and highly flexible T frame. It should be fairly simple for P and J to work out a solution for you.

    I've done many Mustang II front susp. After 6 mo. to a year the 4 cyl ordg, springs sag and lose some of there travel height. I replace them with V-6 springs minus a coil or more to get the A- Arms level to each other , problem solved... .
